Bella and the Bug Problem

Bella was the most organized cat in the entire neighborhood. Her food bowl was always at exactly the right angle, her toy mice were in a neat row on the windowsill, and her napping spot was cushioned with just the right amount of pillows.
One sunny morning, Bella woke up as usual and went to check her food bowl. But something was wrong. In her perfectly tidy home, there was a bug! A small, shiny beetle was marching straight across her food bowl.
"This simply won't do," Bella muttered and tried to sweep the bug away with her paw. But the beetle just dodged skillfully and continued on its way. Soon Bella noticed another bug on her windowsill, then a third on her bookshelf.
"Help!" Bella exclaimed and rushed to her neighbor, the wise old turtle named Shelby. "I have a bug problem!"
Shelby looked at Bella slowly and smiled. "Ah, so the family of gold beetles has moved into your home too."
"Gold beetles?" Bella wondered.
"Yes, they're special beetles. They bring luck to houses where particularly organized animals live," explained Shelby. "Look more closely."
Bella returned home and bent down to examine the bugs. Now she noticed how beautifully their shells sparkled in the sun. And most amazingly - they were arranging her toy mice in even neater rows than she did herself!
Just then, there was a knock at the door. It was Pip, the little mouse from next door who had always admired Bella's tidy home.
"Oh Bella!" Pip exclaimed. "You have gold beetles! They are the most organized bugs in the world. May I come visit to see them?"
Bella found herself smiling. Perhaps a small change in her perfect home wasn't such a bad thing after all. Especially when these new residents were just as organized as she was.
"Of course you may," Bella replied. "But please wipe your paws at the door? We have certain standards here."
Pip giggled, and together they watched as the gold beetles marched in a row along the edge of the bookshelf, polishing every surface to a golden glow as they went.
From that day on, Bella's home was even tidier than before, and best of all, now she had small, shiny friends to share her love of order. Sometimes the best surprises come in small packages - even if they come with six legs.
